WEED your wardrobe
Clothes pile up as you hang on to what no longer fits, bags and belts with broken clasps, expensive outfits long out of fashion. “Rule of thumb: Haven’t used for a year? Don’t need it. Discard it or give to your maid or local charity (but only if in mint condition).
• Group together casuals, formats, ethnics and Westerns.
• Use one type of hanger, with hooks facing backwards.
• Free up space by storing away out-of-season clothing in suitcases.
• Place undergarments, socks and hankies separately in see-through zippered bags or separate drawers.
• Clean out and reorganise your wardrobe at least once a month.
