SIGNS OF A TROUBLED MARRIAGE
There are many signs of a troubled marriage. As soon as you spot one, take it as a warning and start working to save your marriage.
• If the two of you have no desire to be together, then give a hard look at your relationship. If your man is spending a lot of time outside the home without adequate reasons, it is the first sign that the marriage is heading for trouble. Try to make the atmosphere at home pleasant and find out what is making him stay away from you.
• Too many late nights of your husband should ring warning bells for you. Do not nag him or fight with him. Try gently to bring him closer to you. Plan a holiday together. Do the things you both enjoy together.
• It is not a good idea to encourage a woman friend who tries to come too close to your husband. Many a time a close family friend turns out to be a distraction for the husband. If your intuition tells you that the friend is a troublemaker, do not hesitate to distance the family from her. It is better to be safe than sorry.
• If the husband starts drinking more than usual, it is time to be cautious. A man who is torn between two loves often ends up having drinking problems. Try to discourage him from meeting friends who are heavy drinkers.
