PLANNING FOR A HONEYMOON
PLANNING FOR A HONEYMOON
LIST OF THINGS
What are the things you need to take with you on your honeymoon? Make a list, and in that list should be the following items; camera with 2 rolls of film and 2 sets of batteries (you never know if you’ll be able to buy these items at your destination, so it’s safer to carry them with you). Calculate how much cash you need to carry and distribute it so that if one bag is lost or stolen, you won’t be totally helpless. These days ATM (automated teller machine) cards have become common, even with public sector banks. You can safely withdraw up to about Rs 20,000 on one day, and even if your ATM card is stolen, without a personal identification number, it won’t be of much use to the thief.
Also, carry a list of ATM sites at the cities you are going to visit, so that you can easily find the sites without waste of much time when you need to withdraw cash. Clothes of course will depend on where you are going. If it’s a cold place, pack warm stuff, and vice versa. And finally, one item that has to be mentioned, if this writer is to do his  job properly: a packet of condoms! Yes, yes, yes! You’re a newly-married couple, and you are going to visit some romantic places and have all the time in the world to yourselves and all the privacy too. And so, if you don’t want to have additional worries like an unplanned pregnancy — carry this along with you.
A honeymoon should be an enjoyable experience, a time together that you may never have again. Plan it properly, and plan it well in advance so that when you are finally man and wife, all you have to do is to hold hands and step on the train                                      Â
