Tiles on the door
Tiles on the door
Brighten your old cabinet:
One way to do so is to use tiles - the market is flooded with a variety of prints and colors. Choose tiles that go with your overall decor and the general ambience of your home.
Another way to inject your cabinets with life is to exchange solid doors for glass-fronted ones to show off your special dishes, glassware, or even an interesting collection of bottles or kitchenware. Or try a dressy screen for a door; even wrought iron looks interesting and unusual. And it’s not expensive.
The well-read end table here’s a great way to add a “table” next to your favorite lounge chair. Use a stack of books for an unusual coffee perch. Place the heaviest tomes at the bottom, smaller ones in the middle, and use a large one for die “tabletopâ€?. You can tie the books together with jute ropes for greater stability. For a more decorative look, cover the books in transparent plastic and display the spines; or cover them with solid-color wrapping paper.
