It is always better to take a knowledgeable man of vastu in the selection of a site for constructing a house. It will help reap the best out of a proposed site. A site which is a square or rectangle in shape is the best. The rectangle with 1:2 is better. For example 30, 60 feet in width and length. If the site is spacious it makes the resident rich.

It is advisable to buy a site in the east or north of your house or site. Never think twice of investing any amount in acquiring the site in the north east.

The slopes and elevations of your site influence your life. If there is a slope to the east or north it will slower benefits on the resident. If there is elevation on the west and south your life path is paved with gold. People living in such sites achieve any insurmountable victories. It is always better to select a site as spacious as possible. It will facilitate construction of more rooms. Site at straight roads without curves joining and leading to east and north is better for selection. That will make the life of the owner blissful, just like strong oars of a boat.

If the plot is consistent with the compass, construction also will be so. If a plot is not so consistent, make it adjusted to compass, it will result in a dead lock in the south east, south west, North West, since these directions extend. So if the site is not suitable to compass, constructions should go ahead following the pal tern of the road and adjoining houses. That is why a site with straight and parallel road according to the compass must be selected. A site extending to north east will change your destiny also. Your life will be a bed of roses then. Your life will be high corresponding to the elevation of your site in the west and south.

A triangular site should never be selected. Just as it is difficult to change the properties of the land so it is not possible to change the properties of a defective site.

A cotton fabric cannot be changed into silk. That is a site with mounds on the east and north or low with tanks and tanks on the west and south can never be changed qualitatively.
