MICROWAVE COOKING

Use this new technology and make your kitchen work easier.
The microwave oven has proved to be a great boon to the Indian women. The once-ubiquitous domestic help has now become a rare and expensive proposition. With nuclear family set-ups and double income cou¬ples, women find them¬selves doing a tight-rope walk between kids, kitchen and career demands.
Microwave lessens cooking time and cooking becomes less messy. Food can be cooked, stored, reheated and served in the same vessels. The pile of vessels in the kitchen sink is thus reduced to a single dish. Kitchen chores are thus reduced to a very large extent.
There is a wide range of microwave ovens available in the market today to suit everyone’s needs and bud¬gets. There are even mod¬els which offer dual modes of cooking.
Food can be cooked either by microwave or by convection which allows browning and crisping of food. They are available in sizes ranging from 20 litres to 37 litres capacity, with prices ranging from Rs 7,000-10,000 for only microwave cooking, and Rs 12,000-20,000 for an oven which offer dual modes of cook¬ing (microwave and convection).
